A publication by the Conjur and Debate Jurídico Portal highlighted Founding Partner Alessandra Mourão as the first Latin American to participate in the Inspirational Legal Women podcast, promoted by the Legal Policy and Research Unit of the International Bar Association (IBA).
Attorney Alessandra Nascimento Mourão, founding partner of the law firm Nascimento e Mourão Advogados, was the sixth guest in the podcast series “Inspirational legal women”, promoted by the Legal Policy and Research Unit of the International Bar Association (IBA). She is the first representative from Latin America to participate in the project.
The series brings together interviews with prominent women in the global legal profession, who share their trajectories, experiences and challenges in different professional contexts.
In the episode, Alessandra shares her professional trajectory, the challenges faced as a woman in the legal profession and her role as a mentor to young lawyers.
She joins a select group of interviewees that includes Deborah Enix-Ross (former president of the American Bar Association), Carola van den Bruinhorst (Netherlands), Faiza Alleg Dolivet (France), Lucie Allen (United Kingdom) and Mary-Jane Ierodiaconou (Australia).
