Senior Partner João Emmanuel Cordeiro Lima participated last week in a public hearing at the Chamber of Deputies dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Biodiversity Law (Law 13.123/2015), where progress and challenges in the implementation process were discussed, 10 years after its enactment. Senior Partner Anita Pissolito Campos was also present and participated in the debate.
During the debate, João Emmanuel emphasized that, despite the undeniable progress made in recent years, much still needs to be done for the Law to be fully implemented.
The hearing brought together prominent figures and was chaired by Federal Representative Alceu Moreira, whom we thank for the invitation and for the initiative to promote such a relevant discussion for the future of Brazilian biodiversity.
