Lawyer, professor, and founding partner of the law firm Nascimento e Mourão – Sociedade de Advogados, Alessandra Nascimento Mourão, will launch her book *Fundamentals of Negotiation for Legal Professionals*, published by UCP Editora, this Sunday (June 14th). The book signing will take place from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM in pavilions D33 and D34 of the 96th Lisbon Book Fair.
Aimed at lawyers and legal professionals, the work was conceived as a reference manual on negotiation. The book arose from the author’s experience in courses and lectures given in Brazil, Portugal, and other countries, where she identified a demand for specific content on negotiation applied to legal practice.
The publication brings together practical experiences and contributions from specialists to present evidence-based guidance to professionals seeking to improve their negotiation skills, without deviating from the ethical principles that guide the legal profession.
In addressing complex interactions and the search for consensual solutions, the book advocates an approach based on integrity and mutual respect, offering tools for building beneficial outcomes for the parties involved and for continuous professional development.
