Senior partners João Emmanuel and Anita Pissolito attended IBNBio: Towards the Biodiversity COP17, held at Casa Firjan in Rio de Janeiro.
The event brought together representatives from various sectors to discuss how commitments under the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework can be translated into concrete actions, as well as challenges regarding conservation, restoration, financing, metrics, and the integration of biodiversity into corporate strategies.
Participants included representatives from companies and institutions such as Vale, Natura, Grupo Boticário, Petrobras, CNI, CEBDS, Firjan, LIFE Institute Global, CAIXA, AXIA Energia, and Motiva, among others.
This participation reinforces Nascimento e Mourão Advogados’ active role in monitoring the evolving biodiversity agenda and its implications for the business sector.
