Wanessa Magnusson de Souza

Wanessa holds a law degree from the University of São Paulo (Largo de São Francisco Law School, 2001) and specializes in Civil Law (Mackenzie Presbyterian University) and Civil Procedural Law (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo). Her academic background also includes extension courses at GV Law (Fundação Getúlio Vargas – São Paulo) and Harvard University (USA).

She practices in the areas of Civil and Corporate Litigation, Arbitration, and Mediation, with a focus on disputes involving Contract Law, Civil Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and Consumer Relations. She also provides legal counsel and advisory services.

With over two decades of professional experience at major São Paulo law firms and in the legal departments of multinational companies, she has a proven track record in handling judicial, administrative, and arbitration proceedings ranging from low to high complexity. Her work encompasses litigation prevention, strategic negotiations for contracts and various transactions, the drafting of institutional and commercial policies to ensure regulatory compliance, and the management of corporate legal operations.

An author of numerous articles, Wanessa has taught “Advanced Negotiation Techniques”—a course offered by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (São Paulo)—to public officials from SENACON (National Consumer Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice).

Her hobbies include traveling and exercising.
