The Genetic Heritage Department of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (DPG/MMA) launched the new SisGen module for testing for foreign institutions in June. This module was developed to allow access and ensure compliance with Brazilian legislation on access to genetic heritage and associated traditional knowledge.
The testing phase is underway and will last until July 15. Several entities are being invited to access the platform and send their contributions for improvements, with this participation being voluntary and non-binding.
